bitter feelings, divided and conquorded by a pain killer known as codeine

Interesting title? I thought so, although there are people whom do not find the same things interesting. I've got two topics to share with you, followed by insite into my week. Before i begin i have one question, is anyone else annoied by the music on the page? because all you need do is leave a comment and its gone, because its already pissing me off. But i dont want to do it just for me, i'd like to do it if it bothers someone else... not that, that even made any sense haha..

The song "Good" by Better Than Ezra, chorus Lyric "Uh HUH!! It was good living with you! UH HUH!! It was good, oh oh huh! it was good living with you, uh huh... good good good good good good" In the song he reffers to walking around the apartment, and what i can only assume is seeing what used to be while living with his then girlfriend. Which now he is not with, and he misses her. Now i love this song very much, its an awesome song. (here comes the point) if you are serious enough with someone to live together, when you break up. Who in the world can honestly say "It was good, living with you, uh huh"? I certainly cant, i mean i loved mark very much, too much. When i left i didnt hate him, i still dont, but you will never hear me say "It was good living with you, uh huh!" We broke up, obviously we broke up for a reason, ya know? I dont hate any of my ex's, and i dont regret one moment of the time that was spent on them. My point basically is, how many people in the U.S. can say it was good living with there ex, they miss it, ect. I mean some times when your the dumpee, you miss the person, but that feeling soon leaves. And then can you say "Oh it was good living with so and so?" The band also talks about calling or writing a letter to tell you it was good living with you. Once again, i know its getting annoying, but once your relationship has ended. How many people want to be the one that comes crawling back, and says and i quote "Yeah you were so good, good good good, it was good, uh huh, living with you, uh huh!!" okay one more quote and then i'll explain: " Well maybe im just to sure. Or maybe im just frigtened by the sound of it. Pieces of note fall down, but the letter said Uh huh, it was good, living with you, uh huh" What this means to me is someone left him, found someone else, didnt want him to feel bad. So she left some note "I've left you for someone else. but dont worry, it was good living with you" haha what that means is: Well i let you have me, so i'd have a place to live. I'm not completely heartless, just almost heartless. So never fear here's the only good thing i could find to say about you "It was good living with you" What is your opinion on that? You obviously know mine!

IM going to skip the topic i was going to talk about, on account of A. i was something to talk about tomorrow. B. I want to contiue on the same heading, Songs and relationships..

How many people remember the song "leaving town" by Dexter Freebish? "But when your broken down. And no one else is around, you'll come running back to this town. And i'll be there, yeah i'll be there. Cuz i remember how we drank time together. and we used to say the stars are forever. and you dreamed about how make you life better, by leaving town." who is this? That song in its own entirity is the relationship between seth and i. He is always there when i mess up. And i've always got my head in the clouds dreaming of how my life could be so much better if i just get out of springfield. Remember Chicago? and how everything was going to be so wonderful there? How was it going to be wonderful? Why would it be wonderful? Because it had lots of people, no one knows you. hmm how do i explain this generally.. People up there are numb(er) than us. If i fell on the street up there, would anyone stop and help me? chances are probably not. If i fell on the street here, i'd have 50% of the people who saw offering to help. Chicago was this place i was going to go, and hide from a life i didnt want to lead, a home i hated. Men i had no success with. And one man i wanted dearly... I guess if i could some that chicago guy up in one song, it would be Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" the song basically states that she wants out of a town she cant stand anymore, she wants to take this relationship away from failure. She wants to hop in her lovers car, because its fast and she could get out of town soonest. She talks about how the person makes her feel when they put their arms around her, how she felt when they kissed, and why she wants them to leave with her. But in the end of the song she's basically like forget it, forget i said anything. I dont need if you, if you dont want to go. So there you have it, a few songs that you've probably heard several times, and now, maybe now. You will listen to the song from all aspects of it, listen, learn, live life to its fullest.... -Jess
